Kris, I think this turned out great! The exaggeration and contrast in size really make it a strong visual. Might rework the crop just a touch where the monsters (antler?) is almost touching the edge. It creates a sort of awkward and tense area there on the top of the page and draws the viewers attention away from the main visual. Overall though I think it's a great piece! Well done.
Cool. One of my favorites so far this night. I am surfing the illustration friday wave and was very happy to see this little gem as I click thru all the option. Good work. I love the simple linework and the impending doom.
I like the concept of this piece, he obviously knows something is wrong but not what! The shadow under the beast looks kind of like fog and tends to cut it in half and the whole image would improve 100% with a few well placed highlights and shadows. Well done.
oh, i absolutley LOVE the concept of this. the exaggeration of the boy's face is great.. and the monster in the back looks threatening. great job portraying the message!
